Curtis Wellness Center in Cooperation with the Helen Newberry Joy Hospital is open to the public - both residents and tourists. Enjoy our state of the art Cybex exercise equipment, includiing three treadmills, an arc trainer, recumbent bike, multigym, and bench, as well as a Sci-Fit recumbent stepper are available in the newly remodeled lower level of the Park Center. The Erickson Center is awarding one year grants to those who cannot afford a membership to the Curtis Wellness Center. Curtis Michigan Fishing The Portage Anglers Club of Curtis Michigan was formed in November of 2001 by four private citizens of Curtis with a great concern for the fishing quality of the Manistique Lakes.  The five year agenda of the club was designed to help not only better fishing but also for the lakes themselves.
